My Kenadee Reese!!

Karston's Baby Blessing!!!

We had a wonderful day on Sunday Sept. 13th for Karston's blessing! It turned out so nice and it was so good to see all our friends and family there! Thank you to everyone who could make it we really appreciate it! Sorry if I didn't get a chance to talk to you I was really out of it, I had been up since about 4:00 that morning so I was sooo tired! The weather was nice, it was cloudy and sprinkled a little but it was nice and cool! I thought it was perfect! We missed all the family and friends that couldn't make it as well, you missed a good talk in sacrament as Blayne (crazy as is he is) volunteered to speak! He did a great job, so it just made for a great day!! Here are some pics we got after everything died down at our house:

Quick update on the Berry's!!!

Well it's been a while since I have updated my blog, so I thought I would take a minute to let you know what's new with us!!

First off, Karston was daignosed with a heart murmur so we had to take him in to get an echo done to see how serious it was!! So for those of you that we didn't tell the results to, the tests came out normal is all they said!! So we are glad he is healthy, we're not quite sure if that means he doesn't have a murmur at all or it's just not serious and he'll grow out of it, but we are just glad that he is healthy and his heart is fine!!

Then this last Sunday, Blayne and I were released as Primary teachers and Blayne was called as the wards executive secretary!! I was also informed that I am getting a new calling this week, but so far I don't know what that is yet!! I will let you know when I do get it!! Blayne and I are also in a business called Nikken, and that seems to be going really well so we plan to continue working that and hope that it continues to go as well as it has been!!

As for Kenadee she is just Kenadee, she is having a hard time being a big sister, she loves her brother so much but doesn't want mom or dad to hold him!! She always says, "MY MOMMY or MY DADDY"!! So we are trying to teach her that we are his mommy and daddy too!! She is still a little sweetheart most of the time and loves to read and be read too, she is full of energy and is always making us laugh!! She hates that daddy has to go to work, yesterday when he was home for lunch he told her he had to go back to work and she said "no work, play with me" it broke his heart, he would do anything to stay home and be with us!! Maybe someday!!

So that is all for the Berry's, but I just thought I would update everyone on our lives!!
Once again sorry there's no pictures, computer is still not working right, we really need a new one!!

We have a new addition to our family!! Karston Blayne Berry came on Monday June 22, 2009 at 2:47pm! He was 7 lbs. 1 oz. and 20.5 in. long!! It was very quick and easy for the most part and we are both doing great!! I was in labor about 4 hours and pushed for 5 min. and he was here!! He came just over 2 weeks early and is very healthy!! We are excited to have him here, he is such a good baby!!

Quick update!!

Today Kenadee went pee pee in the potty twice today, hopefully we can make it 3 times before she goes to bed, but we'll see! She is having a hard time getting on the potty so much! She is getting to where she doesn't want to anymore, so we will just have to keep working at it!! She went once this morning while daddy was still home and then again this evening!! She did come and tell me once but we didn't quite make it, but I hope we are making progress! I'm still not pushing real hard yet, till she shows that she is more interested, but we are still so proud of her!! We love you Kenadee Reese, even when you throw a fit cause you don't want to sit on the potty anymore!! You're such a big girl, you can do it!!

Big Girl Kenadee!!

I can't believe how fast my Kenadee is growing up!! Today she told me she wanted a bath, so I decided to let her before I put her down for her nap! Well a month or so ago we bought her her own potty, she loves to sit on it but I wasn't sure she knew what it was for!! She would say pee and go sit on it but would never stay on it long enough to do anything, so we weren't forcing her to potty train quite yet and thought we would just introduce it to her and let her sit on it when she wanted too! We weren't sure if she was quite ready yet! Well I noticed that her diaper was still dry after I changed her this morning so I thought I would put her on the potty while I prepared her bath! Not expecting much she stood up and I looked in saw she had gone pee pee in her potty!! I was so proud of her and I was cheering for her and trying to make it a big deal so she would get more excited about it!! She watched me dump it in the toilet and flush, then we cleaned her up and put in the bath! When she got out it was time for a nap, But I thought we would try again! She must not have been ready though, cause she was in there for a half hour before I decided she needed to go to sleep cause by this time it was about 2:30! So the second attempt was with no success, but I think she will be ready to try again when she wakes up!

I am so excited for her and proud that she did it without us even trying to get her too!! I didn't get pictures of the first time she went cause it was so sudden and unexpected, but the following pics are from her second attempt, she looks happy to be on the potty, I think that's a good sign!!

Blayne and I are so proud of our big girl, I think we will try a little harder to potty train now, since she seems to be more ready than I thought!! We love our little cuddle bug and are so excited for her!!

Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter everyone! We have had a wonderful morning, remembering our savior and his sacrifice for us!! I thought I would post some cute pictures of Kenadee in her new dress and shoes that she got this morning!! Also, yesterday Aunt Rashelle gave her some new hair things, one was this adoreable headband!! Thanks Rashelle for making some for her!!

I also was playing with her hair and found out just how curly her hair is, it's so cute, I couldn't believe how it got so curly!!
